  1. As user, it would be useful to have the time displayed on the metrics page to be accurate, informative, and relevant to my location so I can easily understand the data and identify trends over time.

Current behavior: Metrics are displayed on GMT regardless of user location.

    Acceptance Criteria:
    - The time should be displayed in the user's local time based on user's browser settings, reflecting current time, updating dynamically.
    - Hovering over a data point should display the precise time and value in a clear format (e.g., "09:02 full-pipeline-18: 69.55%").

  2. As Aiven customer,
We are experiencing difficulties configuring the IAM principles while setting up Aiven private link services due to the dynamic nature of our AWS accounts. Specifically, we would like to know if it's possible to use a wildcard (*) in place of specifying individual AWS account IDs, as managing the access control for multiple dynamic accounts is becoming complex.

  3. As Head of SRE & Cloud Technology
I want that the setting for additional storage is taken over when you fork some service
so that I can fork instances without having the base backup failing because of missing storage.

    Use case:
we forked on our postgres services and during the build of the new instance it just complaint about full disk because the setting for additional storage was just not taken over. because there was no backup yet, we were also not able to add storage "on the fly". So we had to delete the service and start again.

  5. As obligated by compliance requirements
I want to be able to deploy services in AWS Local Zones and AWS Outposts
so that I can use Aiven Services while meeting my obligations around data residency.
In addition, I recognize that would affect the SLA of those services.

  10. As a founder of a brazilian company that uses Linode
I want to use Aiven PostgreSQL through VPC inside Linode Datacenter.
so that I can have better performance for our application.
I already tried other solutions like AWS and DO connected to Linode. But latency hurts too much.

    Please, support Linode.

  11. As an operator or developer
I want to easily configure my service to autoscale
so that I can not worry about outages or failures if data volume spikes.

Currently, in order to configure autoscaling for a service, one needs to go to Integration Endpoints at the project level, create an Aiven Autoscaler Integration Endpoint, then go to the service where I want to define autoscaling, go to Integrations, choose Aiven Autoscaler under Endpoint Integrations, then select the instance of the Aiven Autoscaler I just created.

Maybe this aligns on the back end for how autoscaling a service works but it's…

  12. As a cloud architect, team lead or CISO
I want to restrict the clouds and regions in which data services can be spinned up
so that I can account for compliance risks, optimize costs and improve latency between data services and applications.

  13. As Senior Data Engineer
I want to be able to orchestrate data flows (DAGS)
so that I can remove the dependency on dbt cloud and other separate tools that we currently run
In addition, dbt cloud is putting the price up making it prohibitory expensive and therefore we need a way to run dbt core and other things to make our data flow.
